Day 20

Wednesday, 1/14/2015

Trenton had an episode this morning around 6 am where his heart rate and oxygen levels dropped significantly for a period of time. Since this happened they will want to keep him at least five days more without incident before they release him. The good news is that they have changed the number from seven to five seeing he is doing so well and it has been at least four days since the last episode so we are doing much better. We are just praying that these next five days will, Lord willing, be incident free for him.

They have increased Travis’ feeding amount now that he is beginning to eat so well. He has lately been getting oral medicine for his mouth for thrush, seeing that he had a consistent milky tongue and we think it may be helping him feel much better and take a lot more from the bottle. And funny enough, he is the better of the two at nursing right now. He seems to have this latching thing down pretty well. And his little heart is showing improvement little by little. Mom and dad are so glad!

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.  (1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV)

  1. You all are in my thoughts and prayers constantly. I just started following your family through this site and it helped keep it real for me, knowing where the prayers are focused.
